Writers at SXSW
I recently had the extreme luck of attending SXSW, where I attended a number of panels relating to indie film making and how it relates to the web as a whole. Whether it was uploading your work to iFilm.com or even selling your work to IFC.
It was a bit of an eye openeer to learn how much user created material drives sites like You Tube with episodic and original films - not just shorts of skaters wiping out on concrete stairs or loney teens lip-syncing in their bedrooms. I'd highly reccomend that anyone who is interested in indie film and self-created content should attend SXSW at least once in their life.
